Sight words are words that do not follow the rules of spelling. Our little readers have to memorize these words because decoding them is difficult.
They are also known as high frequency words since they appear often during reading. Children are taught to memorize sight words as a whole so that they can recognize them immediately and read them without having to decode them.
Here is the card list for pack 1.
Pack 1 has 60 sight word cards
There are 4 cards on each worksheet. Cut along the dotted lines. I suggest that you print these cards on card stock for durability.
If card stock is not possible, try 100 GSM A4 sheets like these.
The answers are provided on individual cards.
For building the words, I use lowercase magnetic letters. I really like these letter since there are 100’s of activities that can be done with these. I bought them from here.
